Thyme is an herb from the mint family. 

Thyme leaves are used from ancient times, with its distinctive taste and fast treating acne and high blood pressure.

It is also used as a natural cough remedy. As it contains antibiotic properties, used as disinfecting. Thyme leaves are used for good smell and boost mood.

Leaves have a variety of uses to add in pasta, rice, and salad. Also commonly used to add in tea.

Thyme is the herb of some members of the genus Thymus of aromatic perennial evergreen herbs in the mint family Lamiaceae. Thymes are relatives of the oregano genus Origanum, with both plants being mostly indigenous to the Mediterranean region.
